About the role
Guild Mortgage Company is a mortgage banking firm dedicated to providing affordable home financing. The role involves processing residential mortgage loans, ensuring timely loan closings, and maintaining strong relationships with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain contact with non-licensed activities after loan submission.
- Monitor and resolve issues impacting loan closure timelines.
- Identify and address potential issues related to documentation and compliance.
- Verify and update data input into the system.
- Order and review third-party documentation and verify its accuracy.
- Communicate with borrowers and loan officers regarding status updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with college courses/technical training in Business, Finance/Accounting, Legal, or related fields preferred.
- Two or more years of recent work experience as a Loan Processor, with at least one year in processing FHA or VA loans.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with intermediate math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and third-party software applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Physical demands: Sedentary work, occasional walking and standing.
- Manual dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
- Auditory/visual demands: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and visual data.
- Environmental demands: Office environment with no substantial exposure to adverse conditions.
