Mortgage Loan Processor II
SUMMARY
A hybrid position that assists in the fulfillment of member home loan requests through the timely ordering, receipt, and completion of required documentation. Processes Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Second Mortgage Loans by reviewing loan packages and determining what further documentation will be required, adhering to Altura's and Investors' documentation requirements. Provides high-quality service by communicating clearly and effectively with borrowers, internal counterparts, and various third parties during the loan transactions. Responds to member inquiries; answers questions, resolves problems, and provides solutions. Must have the ability to perform under strict deadlines and other time constraints. Understands and complies with all real estate lending federal and state regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Second Mortgage Loans by reviewing loan packages and determining what further documentation will be required, adhering to Altura’s documentation requirements.
- Packages, gathers conditions, and submits loan files to underwriters and/or external investors.
- Responds to member inquiries; answers questions, resolves problems, and provides solutions.
- Maintains high-quality service by communicating clearly and effectively with borrowers, internal counterparts, and various third parties during the loan transactions.
- Works with members, real estate agents, and third-party real estate vendors to obtain and verify the accuracy of all information required to submit loan applications for decision-making.
- Recommends loans for approval to the Underwriting team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of four (4) years current processing and loan setup experience in any combination of Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Second Mortgage loan products.
- Understands and complies with all real estate lending federal and state regulations.
- Provides high-quality service by communicating clearly and effectively with borrowers, internal counterparts, and various third parties during the loan transaction.
- Reports to work on time, takes required breaks, and works for the full amount of time scheduled before leaving, or notifies the supervisor if any deviation from these responsibilities is necessary.

$31.28 - $39.09 per hour
