Loan Processor & Claim Specialist

Responsibilities

• Fund all dealer contracts expediently and accurately.
• Maintain good communication with loan officers and dealers regarding fund delays and compliance.
• Respond quickly and respectfully to any quality control or audit issues.
• Look for ways to improve funding processes and be open to learning new processes.
• Process and track TruStage claims, cancellations, and correspondence.
• Handle State National reports, postings, and loan corrections.
• Act as the mediator for CUA employees and members for both CPI and TruStage related inquiries.
• Process credit disputes and updates in the e-OSCAR site.
• Make corrections in the core and relay information to employees or members.
• Learn and take ownership of other processes pertaining to consumer loans (e.g., Route 66, Skip pays, Eltropy/Glia, and loan funding).
• Stay current on changes to Kansas title laws.
• Ensure CUA’s lien is secured on all collateral in or out of state.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete annual BSA/AML Compliance Program training and adhere to its requirements.

Requirements

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
• Good communication, clerical, and keyboard skills.
• Advanced organizational skills for accurate and compliant file maintenance.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel.

• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Office position; works indoors year-round. May be exposed to indoor temperature adjustments, with regulated air distributed via heating and cooling vents.
