Loan Operations QC Specialist
The Merrimack is seeking a full-time Loan Operations QC Specialist to join our team in Concord, New Hampshire. In this role, you will support loan quality control by reviewing new loans, daily maintenance, and interest rate changes to ensure loan data meets established standards, complies with applicable requirements, and reflects loan terms accurately.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay
Hourly rate of pay is negotiable based on experience, with a range of $23.00 to $30.59 per hour. FLSA: Non-exempt, payable bi-weekly on Fridays.

Responsibilities
- Review new loans, loan maintenance, and loan interest rate changes within established timeframes
- Ensure loan setup and maintenance are completed accurately and in accordance with loan terms
- Review adjustable-rate loan notices to confirm interest rate adjustments align with loan documentation
- Apply applicable regulations, federal and state laws, and investor guidelines to help prevent compliance concerns
- Communicate quality control findings clearly and provide timely feedback to support accurate corrections
- Partner with loan departments to research and resolve discrepancies identified during review
- Prepare reports for management, including reports related to quality standards
- Assist with identifying training needs based on loan review results and support training efforts as needed
- Support loan servicing activities, departmental projects, compliance training, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Three to five years of loan-related experience, including a strong understanding of loan documentation and technical loan components
- Knowledge of consumer, residential, and commercial loans preferred
- Solid understanding of applicable regulations, investor guidelines, loan products, core operating systems, and loan servicing procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent analysis skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong administrative, organizational, computer, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft desktop application skills
