Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals.
• Provide education and support to borrowers throughout the application, closing and post-closing.
• Maintain an active knowledge base of all the organization’s available loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant.
• Identify and recommend products that meets the customer’s needs and the organization’s lending guidelines.
• Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to accelerate the process.
• Maintain relevant professional licensing.

Requirements

• Active NMLS license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork and client service skills.
• Self-motivated and highly organized.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
• Math skills.
• Computer skills.

Compensation

Compensation: base $16.90 hourly with targeted earnings from $160K- $300K.
