About the role

Lennar Mortgage is seeking a Field Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Field Loan Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our mission of helping customers achieve their homeownership dreams.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and implement outside sales activities to contribute to the company's growth.
  • Generate leads through effective prospecting, visiting communities, realtor’s offices, and relevant locations.
  • Conduct regular "First Time Homebuyer Seminars" to develop leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current clients.
  • Travel and actively participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events.
  • Offer tailored recommendations on the best mortgage solutions for customers' financial and individual needs.
  • Review and lock interest rates at least fifteen days prior to closing, maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Proactively engage with various communities to explain the Company’s offerings, obtain loan applications, and attend closings.
  • Provide crucial assistance to New Home Consultants on customer pre-qualifications, contributing to the development of a pipeline for outside sales.
  • Strive to meet or exceed closed loan capture rate, spot loan objectives, and other established sales goals and metrics specified in the "Loan Officer" Agreement.
  • Maintain detailed reports and notes within the origination computer system, facilitating a comprehensive exchange of information regarding loan applications, statuses, customer conversations, underwriting, lock-in information, monthly projected closings, incentives, and expenses.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of loan originating experience.
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation.
  • An NMLS License and specific State license (or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment).
  • Fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing preferred).
  • A self-starter with exceptional organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and mortgage industry software and tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four-year college degree (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation.
  • NMLS License and specific State license (or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment).
  • Fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing preferred).
  • Self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to customers.
  • Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and mortgage industry software and tools.

Pay

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $19.36 - $19, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.

Schedule

The Field Loan Officer position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate travel and community engagements.
