Loan Officer
Role Overview
As a Field Loan Officer, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face-to-face interactions, conducting on-site meetings to assess financial data and guide customers on mortgage options. Your primary duties include originating loans, advising clients on suitable mortgage products, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will lead business development efforts by prospecting in communities, hosting seminars, and attending industry events to generate leads and foster relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through outreach and community engagement.
- Provide personalized mortgage recommendations aligned with customer needs.
- Review, lock, and process loan applications adhering to guidelines.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and manage leads proactively.
- Support sales goals by assisting with pre-qualifications and pipeline development.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of loan origination experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- NMLS license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
- Proficient in mortgage software and MS Office.
