About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent Loan Officer to join our fast-paced, rapidly expanding mortgage team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances. Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with borrowers and brokers to originate high quality loan applications.
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring that all queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Reviewing and analyzing loan applications, using your attention to detail to ensure all necessary information is accurate and complete.
- Navigating complex financial situations to provide the best loan solutions for our customers.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and loan products, including conventional and government loans.
- Working closely with the processing team to submit loan applications and follow up on their progress.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues that may arise during the loan process.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, particularly in a loan officer role would be nice but not required
- Proven experience with conventional and government loans would be nice but not required
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers and brokers.
- Ability to originate high quality loan applications.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and navigate complex financial situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Four year college degree preferred

Pay
Starting salary is $70,000–$75,000 for the first 6–9 months while building pipeline, then has opportunity for commission-only structure in the $100,000–$135,000 range depending on ramp-up.
