Loan Closer - Commercial

About the Role

Manage all aspects of commercial loan activity from approval through closing, funding, booking, and ongoing servicing. Act as the primary liaison between Relationship Managers, lenders, internal teams, attorneys/counsel, and other stakeholders. Coordinate and track deal flow, ensuring loans close accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review and assemble closing documentation, due diligence materials, insurance, application, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving transaction issues prior to closing; maintain proper controls and risk management.
• Collaborate with closing and servicing teams to support accurate booking, accrual reconciliations, cash positions, payments, draws, and payoffs.
• Audit loan documents for accuracy and completeness; assist in executing closings as needed.
• Communicate with lenders and internal partners to resolve issues, collect missing items, and ensure all closing requirements are met.
• Maintain strong compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Work effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with nCino or banking core systems is beneficial.
• Preferred experience with Commercial Real Estate and/or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan documentation.
