Loadout Department Manager

Responsibilities
- Recruit, motivate and retain a team of high-performing and driven Associates
- Work closely with the Associates to improve morale by motivating through effective coaching and facilitating personal growth
- Work with other department leaders to cultivate a welcoming and team-focused environment
- Plan and execute production schedules while overseeing production processes
- Ensure assigned shipping bays are complete and ready for the loading teams in the allotted time frame
- Communicate effectively with Associates and all levels of management
- Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address areas of improvement, and execute accordingly
- Manage department budget, ensuring department goals are met or exceeded
- Strategically manage department operations in compliance with company policies and vision
- Initiate, coordinate and effectively manage compliance of optimal operational policies and procedures
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent
- Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Absolutely essential to manage details, appreciate complexity, and champion problem solving
- Strong leadership skills, flexible and innovative with a collaborative style
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
