About the role
The Loader Operator will move and load vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift, maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility, and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections with associated documentation of their assigned machine. The operator will maintain a safe work environment, follow company guidelines for safe loader operation, and facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
- Operate company equipment safely.
- Assist with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
- Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
- Operate digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
- Set up yard for auctions within company timelines.
- Provide service to customers as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
- Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (e.g., speed limits).
- Load and unload vehicles as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
- One year of loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
- Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and high integrity.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- Must be able to pass training and safety requirements.

Pay
$23.40 - $26.31 per hour.
