Loader Operator

About the role

Operate big equipment and contribute to the smooth operation of SRM Concrete's concrete plants.

Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials like sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure materials are available for production.
• Work alongside your crew and production team to maintain a consistent workflow.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report any issues to the team.
• Ensure the work area is clean and organized to maintain a safe environment.
• Count inventory and alert the team if supplies are running low.
• Participate in discussions to improve processes and share your ideas with plant leaders.
• Be flexible and assist in various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and work hard
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job
• Basic equipment inspection and repair skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (helpful but not required)
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings

Skills

• Experience operating front-end loaders or other heavy machinery
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to speak up if necessary
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay

Hourly pay with overtime after 8 hours, plus eligibility for bonuses and annual raises.

Schedule

Local work with the option to relocate within the company's network.
