Loader Operator

About the role

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator based out of our Coolidge, AZ location. The Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to meet production goals while conducting inspections, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting team communication and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.
• Perform proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues.
• Assist with safety audits.
• Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
• Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals.
• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Must have 2 years Loader Operator experience. Preferably with Caterpillar 980 and 988.

• Positive, Team-based attitude.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).

Schedule

Typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needs.
