Loader Operator - Asphalt

About the role

This is a Local 49 Operating Engineer Union position. The primary responsibility is to operate a loader to feed a mobile asphalt plant. Other tasks include maintaining the asphalt plant and pit grounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to feed a mobile asphalt plant
• Maintain equipment and perform hand work related to plant upkeep
• Travel through Northern Minnesota and North Dakota with other work locations as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• A CDL is preferred, but not required
• Experience with a variety of heavy equipment
• 3+ years work with a loader in a plant/feeding environment or similar experience

• A strong desire to work safely

Pay

Estimated Wage: $25.00 to $45.00 Per Hour-depending on work location

Schedule

Seasonal position requiring travel through Northern Minnesota and North Dakota with other work locations as assigned
