Responsibilities
- Communicate and promote safety compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
- Able to run mixing operations on the plant to ensure material quality and compliance with specification.
- Absorb consistent production to meet daily orders.
- Offload hot asphalt oil.
- Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach, including scaling, ticketing, and assist in asphalt orders.
- Complete daily checklist, journal, and reports.
- Continuously communicate with plant operators, truckers, quality control, and dispatch.
- Solve problems to help identify and resolve issues that arise.
- Maintain aggregate stockpiles and liquid levels.
- Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven work history of two (2) years or more experience in asphalt plant operation.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Willing to travel if job requires.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
