About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Licensed Nurse Aide (LNA) to provide hospice care to clients in Wyndham County, VT and Cheshire and Sullivan counties in NH.

Responsibilities

  • Activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Toileting
  • Nail care
  • Ranges of motion/exercises
  • Transfers/mechanical lifting devices
  • Nutritional care (oral feeding)
  • Vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration)
  • Home management tasks (laundry, meal preparation, bed making)
  • Ambulation assistance
  • Medication assistance

Requirements

  • At least one year of work experience
  • Listed on the VT/NH Aide Registry, active and in good standing
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
  • Meet all state requirements

Qualifications

  • Criminal background check completed
  • Reliable transportation

Pay

Base pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $21-$23 per hour
