LNA, Hospice, Full time
About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, LNA for a full-time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Chittenden and Washington counties.
Responsibilities
- Part of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients
- Offering flexible schedules, 1:1 patient ratio, and comprehensive benefits package
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Ranges of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Nutritional support: oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
- Ambulation assistance
- Medication assistance
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience
- Listed on the Vermont Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Meet all state requirements
Qualifications
- Criminal background check completed
- Must meet all state requirements
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
- Knowledge of vital signs and range of motion exercises
- Experience with medication administration
- Effective teamwork and problem-solving skills

Pay
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $22-26 per hour
