Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment of inmates.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team including medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals and corrections.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Assist inmates in planning and implementing treatment goals for the duration of their stay.
• Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
• Prepare necessary documentation, records and reports; maintain excellent and timely documentation skills.
• Make independent clinical decisions while utilizing assistance and supervisory intervention as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed Master’s Level Behavioral Health Clinician able to administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment.
• Hold one of the following licenses: LLCP, LCP, or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Master’s level program.
• Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
• Satisfactory background investigation report.
