Living Support/Direct Support Professional (DSP)
About the role
Great Livin' in Albuquerque, NM is actively seeking a full-time or part-time Living Support / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support their residential clients with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support adults with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
- Provide guidance in daily living activities such as bathing, hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping.
- Model appropriate social skills and behaviors.
- Work with participants to learn new skills and achieve goals.
- Assist with educational and recreational activities to help them get better access to the community.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation and promptly report any concerns about health or safety.
Requirements
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a fingerprint and background check
- Complete a TB Test
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
- Patient, respectful, tactful, and calm under pressure
- A heart for serving people with disabilities

Pay
Earns competitive pay starting at $15.00 to $18.00 an hour, with potential for advancement and overtime.
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time shifts available
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- Weekends preferred
- Shifts include:
- Monday through Friday, Day shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Weekends, Friday through Monday, Day shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Training
- Paid training provided by Great Livin' LLC
- Includes Developmental Disabilities Supports Division state-based trainings, CPR/First Aid/AED, and Handle with Care trainings
