Live ATM Banker - Part Time

This position can be based in Alma or Wyoming, MI.

About the Role

Join our fast-growing team as a Part-Time Live ATM Banker and experience the excitement of providing exceptional customer service with the ability to work a hybrid remote schedule after the initial training period. Think virtual meeting paired with an ATM machine.

Schedule

The Live ATM department is open 8:00am–6:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am–1:00pm on Saturdays. You will work 9:00am–6:00pm three days a week plus Saturdays 9:00am–1:00pm.

You’ll be expected to be in-office for the first few months while learning the systems. After training, you will have the opportunity to work from home 2–3 days per week if you wish, with at least one in-office day each week.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers from all over the state of Michigan with their Live ATM transactions and inquiries
• Utilize technology to assist customers virtually
• Wow customers with problem solving and ability to think “outside the box (or ATM machine)”
• Verify customer information and process various transactions
• Promote Mercantile products and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Collaborate with the retail banking team to enhance service quality and sales opportunities
• Build lasting customer relationships in a virtual setting
• Resolve complex issues and educate customers on Live ATM functionalities
• Stay updated on financial products to contribute to a seamless banking experience
• Uphold the bank’s standards and meet customers’ evolving needs effectively

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for virtual customer interactions
• Ability to stay organized, pay attention to detail, and manage time efficiently
• One to three years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or the financial industry
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to resolve customer inquiries
