Litigation Paralegal (Oakland, CA)Our law firm client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Oakland office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong litigation support and e-discovery experience. The position is fully onsite for the first 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) thereafter. Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 annually -Actual compensation will depend on experience, education, certifications, technical skills, and other job-related factors. Key ResponsibilitiesManage litigation calendars and track all case deadlinesOrganize, review, and maintain case files and documentsPerform document review, Bates labeling, and production preparationCompile information for discovery responses, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparationGather documents and assist with subpoenas, agency matters, and litigation requestsPrepare case summaries, witness lists, legal hold memoranda, and other legal documentsAssist with witness preparation and formal discovery responsesElectronically file documents in state and federal courtsSupport e-discovery projects and litigation databasesConduct legal and factual researchCommunicate professionally with clients, courts, agencies, and legal vendorsQualificationsBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required3+ years of litigation paralegal experienceStrong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filingsExperience with e-discovery platforms such as Everlaw, Relativity, LiveNote, Summation, or Trial Director preferredProficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, NetDocuments, iManage, Foxit Pro, or similar legal technology platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Work Schedule: Must work onsite in Oakland 5 days per week during the first 90 days of employment.
