Litigation Paralegal (Hybrid)
About the Role
This hybrid litigation paralegal role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic, fast-growing technology legal team in downtown Seattle. You will provide timely and effective support to paralegals, attorneys, and sourcing professionals, collaborating closely with a global legal team. The position focuses on litigation support and commercial contracting, including drafting a variety of agreements and managing administrative aspects of the litigation process. This is a consulting role expected to run through the end of 2026, with potential for extension depending on budget and performance.
Responsibilities
- Draft a variety of commercial documents with supervision, including Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Proof of Concept Agreements, Transportation Services Agreements, and Master Purchasing Agreements.
- Provide litigation support to attorneys, primarily in the employment law area, with additional overflow support for other attorneys as needed.
- Handle the administrative side of litigation matters, including document retention, legal file organization, and management of legal folders.
- Support the e-discovery process using tools such as Hanzo, ensuring accurate organization, tracking, and preservation of relevant materials.
- Assist with legal assistant-level tasks for the broader legal group, including file management, organization, and general administrative support.
- Collaborate with paralegals, attorneys, sourcing professionals, and other paralegals to ensure timely and effective completion of projects with medium to high complexity.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form with internal stakeholders across the global legal team.
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities, maintaining poise under pressure and meeting strict timelines.
- Utilize productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Coupa, and other platforms to support legal and administrative workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–5 years of post-school experience as a litigation paralegal or in a closely related legal support role.
- Solid litigation experience with experience in either in-house legal departments or law firms.
- Hands-on experience with the e-discovery process, preferably using tools such as Hanzo.
- Strong organizational skills, including experience with document retention, legal file management, and maintaining legal folders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Google Suite for document creation, collaboration, and communication.
- Ability to draft and review commercial contracts and related documents with supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across a legal team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated poise under pressure and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience working with or supporting employment lawyers or employment-related litigation matters.
- Prior in-house legal experience is highly valued, though law firm experience is also welcome.
- Familiarity with contract management processes and commercial contracting in a technology or corporate environment.
- Experience using collaboration and workflow tools such as Slack and Coupa.
- General paralegal training or education, such as a paralegal certificate or relevant coursework (if applicable).
- Comfort working as part of a global legal team and supporting colleagues in different locations.
- Ability to take initiative in organizing files, improving processes, and supporting team efficiency.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in downtown Seattle, Washington. You will work onsite Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with Monday and Friday remote. The office is located in a newer building with impressive views of the Puget Sound, offering a modern and comfortable workspace. You will be part of a growing legal team of approximately 20–22 professionals globally, collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and sourcing professionals. The environment is fast-paced and technology-driven, making regular use of tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Coupa, and e-discovery platforms like Hanzo. Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
