Litigation Paralegal

Our Client, a respected and established law firm in Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and respond to complex discovery requests.
• Prepare detailed medical chronologies and case summaries.
• Summarize deposition transcripts for attorney review.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling of depositions, hearings, and other key case events.
• Draft, issue, and track subpoenas.
• Monitor case timelines to ensure deadlines are met and consistently move cases forward.
• Identify and coordinate necessary reports, ensuring completion by appropriate attorney or staff.
• Maintain case files, manage documents, and support attorneys with trial preparation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Strong knowledge of discovery processes, legal procedures, and case management.
• Proficiency in preparing medical chronologies and deposition summaries.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and litigation support software preferred.
