Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

A Real Estate & Hospitality Company is seeking a paralegal with 3+ years' experience in Insurance & Litigation for a 3-month engagement starting as soon as possible. This role provides interim coverage for a legal team member on maternity leave, focusing primarily on litigation management and insurance-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance claims and disputes.
• Respond to consumer and regulatory complaints.
• Support insurance and owner-classification matters.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers and internal business teams.
• Accept service, assign, and track matters through the company’s internal ticketing system, Freshservice.
• Follow up directly with business stakeholders.
• Work directly with business teams.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude as part of the legal team’s day-to-day workflow.

Requirements

• General in-house litigation experience.
• Experience handling insurance-related legal matters.
• Comfortable using AI tools (primarily ChatGPT and Claude) as part of day-to-day legal work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track matters through a ticketing or workflow management system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance, hospitality, software, and/or real estate industry.
• Experience with Freshservice or a similar ticketing/workflow management platform.

Key Details

Location: Remote
Duration: 3-month engagement
Candidates must be able to work full-time starting ASAP. The selected worker will be employed (W-2) by a workforce solutions company for the duration of the engagement.

Pay

$50 - $65 per hour
