Our client's Chicago office is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its highly regarded Aviation & Aerospace Litigation practice. Responsibilities
- Manage litigation files from case inception through settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Prepare subpoenas, interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and other discovery documents
- Draft discovery responses, coordinate document productions, and prepare privilege logs
- Organize and maintain pleadings, exhibits, correspondence, medical records, and case files
- Conduct factual investigations and legal research
- Prepare chronologies, pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other litigation documents
- Coordinate expert witnesses, consultants, and deposition logistics
- Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial
- Monitor litigation deadlines and maintain case calendars
- File pleadings electronically in both Illinois State and Federal Courts
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness files, demonstrative evidence, and courtroom presentations
- Provide trial support, including exhibit management, witness coordination, and courtroom assistance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong experience supporting complex civil litigation matters
- Trial preparation and courtroom support experience
- Experience managing discovery, document productions, and electronic court filings
- Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Aviation or aerospace litigation experience is a plus, but not required

Pay
Salary range of $68,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
