About the role
Munsch Hardt is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex commercial litigation matters from case inception through trial and appeal.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation documents in Texas state and federal courts.
- Cook up court filings, e-filings, service of process, and maintain litigation calendars and critical deadlines.
- Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, production, privilege logs, and large electronic document productions.
- Prepare deposition notebooks, hearing notebooks, mediation materials, trial binders, and exhibits.
- Cook up depositions, mediations, hearings, trials, expert witnesses, and courtroom logistics.
- Perform cite-checking and document review for motions, briefs, and appellate filings.
- Organize and maintain complex electronic and physical case files.
- Partner closely with attorneys while anticipating needs and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate.
- 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in complex commercial litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Texas state court procedures; federal court experience is a plus.
- Trial experience, including courtroom support, exhibit management, and witness coordination.
- Experience managing large, document-intensive cases from inception through trial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, and e-discovery platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
