Litigation Paralegal

About the role

We’re hiring a litigation paralegal to assist our civil/personal injury legal team.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and manage all aspects of discovery, guaranteeing timely and precise responses to requests.
• Draft, review, and file motions and pleadings, maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain open and efficient communication with clients, offering updates and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Conduct limited legal research to support case preparation and strategic development.
• Aid attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, making sure all necessary materials are organized and accessible.
• Manage case files and documentation, ensuring all records are current and easily retrievable.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and identify potential areas for process and procedure improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating and managing discovery processes with precision and timeliness.
• Ability to draft, review, and file legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
• Proven track record of maintaining effective communication with clients, ensuring clarity and responsiveness.
• Skilled in conducting legal research to support case preparation and strategic development.
• Experience in assisting attorneys with trial preparation, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
• Strong organizational skills to manage case files and documentation efficiently.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with the legal team in developing case strategies and improving processes.

Compensation

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
