Duties
- Assist in all aspects of discovery and eDiscovery , including document management and review, document production, written discovery and depositions.
- Cite-check legal memoranda.
- Research case filings, public records, and public background information.
- Draft, review, and proof correspondence and legal documents such as motions, memoranda, affidavits, and other pleadings.
- File documents in all levels of federal and state courts, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Assist with preparation for and attends hearings, arbitrations and trials as needed.
- Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for junior and mid-level paralegals.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred with either a paralegal certificate or a degree in paralegal studies
- Minimum of 7+ years of demonstrated experience in the Litigation practice area, particularly with large and complex cases and/or government investigations.
- Proficiency with computer technology, MS Office Suite, litigation and e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity), and case management software required.
- Candidates must have a high level of attention to detail, with excellent communication and client service skills.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry or global law firm preferred.
