Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Handle case intake; researching property records, providing pertinent details to docketing, updating database with claim info
• Monitor Arbitration filings inbox to relay deadlines to docketing
• Communicate priority issues to attorneys and paralegals
• Submit Process Server and Expert invoices in Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River)
• Update claims database
• Handle American Arbitration Association (AAA) invoices
• Handle other miscellaneous tasks and meet daily deadlines
• Consistently achieve billable hour expectation set by the firm (including approved non-billable time)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Paralegal or similar role required
• Construction defects experience desired

Pay and Benefits

The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. For positions in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, the range is $63,900 to $89,500.
