Litigation Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including trial, mediation, arbitration, and depositions
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other court documents
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other databases to support case preparation
• Organize, maintain, and manage case files and discovery materials
• Prepare and summarize discovery responses, witness files, and exhibits for trial
• Communicate directly with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate required
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Real Estate Law experience preferred; real estate transaction experience is a plus
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
• Exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and time management
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and client service skills
