About the Role
You will be a paralegal on the litigation team, owning approximately 40-60 active litigation files as primary staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting complaints, propounding and responding to written discovery, and preparing deposition outlines and packets
- Scheduling and coordinating depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Mentoring legal assistants and directing virtual assistants
- Keeping every file current in Filevine: phases, tasks, notes, deadlines
- Emerging as the first line of escalation before the partners
Who They're Looking For
An experienced paralegal with five-plus years in personal injury litigation, capable of handling complex cases independently. A career paralegal who values the profession and is open to learning and adapting to new technologies. Someone with thick skin to handle challenging situations and a strong desire to contribute to the firm's mission.
