Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

Cole, Scott & Kissane is seeking a defense litigation paralegal with 5+ years of recent defense litigation experience for its Orlando office. This position requires an independent professional experienced in general liability.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of discovery responses and objections
• Summarization of medical and other types of records
• Preparation of medical chronologies
• Drafting subpoenas to non-parties and public record requests
• Motion drafting
• Preparation of trial binders and exhibits
• Assisting with large document production
• Utilizing Adobe for electronic production issues
• Properly capturing time and billing according to client guidelines
• Performing other litigation paralegal tasks as required

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent defense litigation experience
• Prior paralegal experience
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute (minimum)
