Litigation Paralegal

BOS Staffing is partnering with a Queens-based personal injury firm known for its aggressive advocacy and high-touch client service to hire a Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be excited to be at the heart of personal injury cases, not just on the sidelines.

• Draft summons and complaints, bills of particulars, and discovery responses on active personal injury cases
• Prepare and e-file pleadings and other court documents via NYSCEF, helping move cases efficiently through the courts
• Cook up and organize discovery materials, including medical records and other evidence
• Handle subpoenas, discovery coordination, and deposition preparation so attorneys are fully prepared for negotiations and hearings
• Communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients to keep cases on track and clients informed

Requirements

• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side experience is especially valuable)
• Strong understanding of New York civil litigation procedures
• Hands-on experience with NYSCEF e-filing
• Motion drafting experience is a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute as a reliable member of a close-knit team
