Our client, a busy and growing small civil litigation firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across a broad mix of civil matters, including probate, contracts, construction, and collections. This role is ideal for a hands-on paralegal who enjoys managing cases from start to finish, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable pitching in wherever needed in a small office. What We Offer:Salary range: $55,000–$65,000, depending on relevant experience401(k) eligibility after 12 months of employmentBonus programVacation/leave timeHealth insurance reimbursement (if eligible)Collaborative, team-oriented environment in a tight-knit, small firmOpportunity to work closely with attorneys on a wide range of litigation and some transactional matters (estate planning, contract drafting/review, corporate work) If You Have:Minimum 2 years of Paralegal experience, with hands-on litigation responsibilityExperience managing all aspects of civil litigation, including collections, garnishments, dispossessories, and general civil mattersStrong attention to detail and the ability to understand and respond to the urgency of court and client deadlinesProven ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload with multiple competing deadlinesA team-player mindset and willingness to help with whatever is needed in a small firm (phones, front desk, dropping FedEx, etc.)High level of professionalism in working with all team membersExcellent communication skills and a professional, positive personality You Will Be:Drafting, filing, and managing litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, responses), affidavits, garnishments, and related filingsE-filing in Georgia courts using Peachcourt, Odyssey, PACER, TrueFiling, and GSCCCA (prior, confident experience with these systems is required)Organizing and maintaining case files and litigation calendars across all stages of a casePreparing, serving, tracking, and summarizing discovery; assisting with the preparation of discovery responsesCoordinating and scheduling depositions and other case-related eventsActing as a liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel, ensuring clear and timely communicationCalendaring deadlines, tracking case progression, and handling other administrative and case-management tasks as neededPitching in as part of a small team, including occasionally covering phones, answering the door, and handling errands such as FedEx drop-offs when coverage is needed If you are an experienced litigation paralegal who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working closely with a small team, we’d love to hear from you.
