Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and correspondence
• Manage discovery workflow and help drive cases forward efficiently
• Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural issues
• Cookordination and organization of materials for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Maintain highly organized digital case files and litigation records
• Manage calendars, deadlines, and docketing with absolute accuracy
• Filer documents electronically in state and federal courts and coordinate in-person filings when required
• Serve as a steady operational force, ensuring litigation progresses smoothly

Qualifications

• Significant litigation paralegal experience, ideally in business or commercial litigation
• Confidence using the NY state and federal e-filing systems
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written communication and responsiveness
• A proactive, ownership mindset
• Professional maturity and calm under pressure
