Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant
Snell & Wilmer currently has an opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Litigation Practice Group in our Seattle office. You will provide high-level administrative support to attorneys specializing in litigation. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in a legal environment and strong understanding of litigation procedures and documentation
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, or in a similar administrative role within a litigation environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Washington court procedures, including state, federal, and appellate levels, with a strong emphasis on e-filing procedures
- Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail in all written communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, OneNote, and Outlook) and experience with document management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, showing reliability and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and clients
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office until trained and then a hybrid schedule. The pay range for this position is $42.00 to $46.00 per hour depending on years of experience.
