Litigation Counsel

For our client, we are seeking a Litigation Counsel to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will take ownership of complex litigation matters that touch on employment classification, professional negligence, and data privacy. The position will partner closely with internal teams and outside counsel to shape legal strategy, manage risk, and support high-stakes matters from inception through resolution. It will also help build practical processes for eDiscovery, subpoena response, and cross-functional legal support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $190,000 – $220,000 annually Responsibilities Manage and oversee litigation related to independent contractor classification, including unemployment insurance claims. Handle a range of litigation workstreams, with a focus on professional negligence and data privacy matters. Collaborate with internal and external counsel on high-stakes litigation by drafting essential legal documents. Develop and execute eDiscovery strategy, including custodial document management. Lead third-party subpoena response strategy. Provide legal counsel to cross-functional teams, including product and operations. Support additional legal initiatives in alignment with team and organizational needs. Qualifications JD with at least 5 years of experience. Outstanding communication and writing skills. Strong problem-solving orientation with a bias toward action. Proven ability to manage projects independently. Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.
