Litigation & Claims Counsel
Litigation and Dispute Management
Support the management of litigation, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and other disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Assist in developing case strategies in collaboration with senior legal counsel and external counsel.
Coordinate fact gathering, document collection, and preservation activities.
Monitor litigation developments, deadlines, budgets, and reporting requirements.
Review briefs, settlement agreements, and other dispute-related documents.
Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing claims, including customer, vendor, subcontractor, and third-party claims.
Support claim investigations, root-cause analyses, and resolution strategies, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Assess claim exposure, reserves, settlement opportunities, and recovery options.
Help develop, implement, and maintain litigation and claims management policies, procedures, and playbooks.
Support compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
Requirements
Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent) and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
Post-qualification legal experience, preferably including litigation, disputes, claims, or investigations work.
Experience gained at a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Preferred
Experience supporting cross-border disputes or multinational legal matters.
Exposure to commercial disputes, construction claims, technology disputes, or regulatory investigations.
Experience working with external counsel and litigation budgets.
Familiarity with discovery, legal hold, and document management processes.
Additional language capabilities are a plus.
