Responsibilities

• Manage civil matters independently, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
• Handle a range of cases, including contract disputes, lien enforcement, collections, and small claims
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Draft and review contracts and related legal documents
• Develop case strategies aligned with client goals and business realities
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients regarding case status and expectations

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Utah
• 5+ years of litigation experience (civil litigation preferred)
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
