We are a full-service law firm with a strong focus on litigation, particularly in insurance defense. Our team represents a wide range of clients across claims including premises liability, products liability, automobile liability, and construction disputes. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in various litigation matters, including environmental law and infectious diseases.
- Manage all aspects of the litigation process including discovery, heavy discovery, court appearances, and complex motion practice.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
- Represent the firm in court, presenting facts, arguing cases, and advocating for clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to gather all necessary information and evidence for each case.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management and client representation.
- Stay updated with current legislation, court decisions, and other legal developments that may impact the firm's clients.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in NY and in good standing.
- A minimum of 3-10 years of experience in litigation. A portable book of business is not required but will be considered in determining compensation.
- Proven track record in managing all aspects of the litigation process including discovery, heavy discovery, court appearances, and complex motion practice.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.

$140,000 - $200,000 per year
