Litigation Attorney

About the role

Remote contract position for 3–6 months, with the option to work 20 or 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze complex legal matters involving litigation, M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
• Draft, review, and analyze contracts and transactional/legal documents.
• Identify legal risks, issues, and regulatory considerations.
• Analyze matters involving data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide structured legal analysis and feedback on hypothetical and real-world legal scenarios.
• Collaborate remotely with legal and technical professionals.
• Apply legal judgment to evaluate the quality, accuracy, and reasoning of AI-generated legal content.
• Contribute to evolving AI training and evaluation requirements.

Requirements

• JD or equivalent from a leading US law school.
• Active US Bar membership.
• Strong experience in one or more of: litigation, M&A, private equity, or capital markets.
• Strong contract drafting, review, and interpretation experience.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide precise, well-reasoned analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• BigLaw / Am Law firm experience.
• Experience working with corporate, transactional, or complex litigation matters.
• Experience with legal technology, AI, legal data, or AI model evaluation.
• Experience developing or utilizing evaluation frameworks, scoring criteria, or legal review rubrics.
• Experience providing structured legal feedback or quality assurance.
• Experience involving technology, digital assets, privacy, or emerging regulatory issues.
