What You'll Do
- Work on a large and active litigation caseload for a strong base of repeat clients
- Handle matters through various stages of litigation, with increasing case responsibility over time
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal documents
- Manage deadlines and maintain organization across a busy docket
- Assist with case strategy, settlement evaluation, and negotiations
- Work closely with experienced attorneys while progressing toward independently managing cases
- Develop direct client relationships and see matters through settlement and resolution
What We're Looking For
- 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong writing, organization, and deadline management skills
- Teachable, driven, and willing to jump into a busy litigation department
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing priorities
- Desire to continue developing litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
- Long-term interest in running a litigation docket and progressing toward partnership
