We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate, commercial, business, property, and construction litigation matters. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence for lawsuits, prepare legal documents, and advise clients on their legal rights.
- Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
- Negotiate settlements in complex litigation cases to avoid court proceedings and reduce costs for clients.
- Develop relationships with clients and work closely with them to understand their business objectives and legal needs.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best representation for our clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, commercial litigation, business litigation, property litigation, and construction litigation.
- Proven track record of successfully litigating cases and negotiating settlements.
- Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
