Litigation Associate (Mid to Senior Level) - PHX
About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT) seeks a full-time Associate with 4-7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and interpersonal skills, enjoy collaborative work across offices, and possess robust case management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing issues, conducting research, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues for complex litigation.
- Preparing for, taking, and defending depositions.
- Trial preparation experience, including the creation of outlines and exhibits for direct and cross-examinations.
- Strategic, analytical approach and direct client interaction.
- Case management experience, including managing written discovery responses, document review and production, and working with experts.
Requirements
- Experience analyzing issues, conducting research, and drafting briefs for complex litigation.
- Preparedness for, taking, and defending depositions.
- Experience with trial preparation, including creating outlines and exhibits for direct and cross-examinations.
- Strategic, analytical mindset and ability to interact directly with clients.

Qualifications
- Law Review/Journal and/or clerkship experience preferred.
- Strong academic performance and current admission to practice in Arizona.
