Litigation Associate (Mid Level) - Los Angeles
About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Associate in the Litigation Practice of their Los Angeles office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country and sometimes internationally.
- Experience in a mid to large law firm, including drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience in corporate governance and compliance, and issues arising in business disputes.
- Experience with business dispute litigation and corporate governance and compliance.
- Experience with issues typically arising in business disputes.
- Experience with drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts.

Requirements
- Between three and five years of litigation experience.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- In good standing with the CA Bar.
- Federal clerkship a plus.

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Commute/Transit
Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
