About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Associate in the Litigation Practice of their Los Angeles office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country and sometimes internationally.
  • Experience in a mid to large law firm, including drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience in corporate governance and compliance, and issues arising in business disputes.
  • Experience with business dispute litigation and corporate governance and compliance.
  • Experience with issues typically arising in business disputes.
  • Experience with drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts.

Requirements

  • Between three and five years of litigation experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • In good standing with the CA Bar.
  • Federal clerkship a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a mid to large law firm.
  • Experience drafting pleadings and briefs.
  • Experience conducting research.
  • Experience managing traditional and electronic discovery.
  • Experience assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions.
  • Experience appearing before state and federal courts.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Commute/Transit

Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
