Job Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Litigation Associate to join our employment litigation team. The ideal candidate brings meaningful courtroom and deposition experience, the ability to independently manage a substantive caseload, and a collaborative spirit that strengthens the team around them. This role offers significant responsibility, a clear path for growth, and the opportunity to handle complex employment matters at every stage of litigation. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a robust docket of employment litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial or resolutionTake and defend depositions with minimal supervision, including expert witnesses and corporate representativesRepresent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearancesDraft and argue dispositive and discovery motions, including motions for summary judgmentDevelop and execute case strategy in coordination with supervising attorneys and clientsConduct legal research and produce clear, persuasive written work productsMentor junior associates and collaborate closely with paralegals and support staffMaintain direct client relationships, providing strategic counsel and regular case updatesMonitor and manage deadlines across a high-volume docket with precision and efficiency Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the California State Bar, in good standingLicensed to practice law in the State of California2–5 years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff, defense, or government)Proven track record of court appearances, depositions, and motion practiceAbility to independently manage cases and exercise sound litigation judgmentStrong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsCollaborative team player with a professional and collegial approachHighly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines across a busy docketProficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis) and case management software Additional Information What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education (CLE).A supportive work environment dedicated to teamwork, integrity, and excellence in client service.
