Role Description
Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to handle complex commercial litigation matters, with an immediate focus on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, participating in discovery, preparing for trial, and representing clients throughout the litigation process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills and be comfortable handling substantial responsibility in a collaborative legal environment.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license
- Experience in commercial litigation
- Prior litigation or judicial clerkship experience is preferred
- Experience in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation is highly preferred
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple litigation matters and meet deadlines
- Strong advocacy, attention to detail, and sound legal judgment
