Responsibilities

• Handle hearings independently.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal briefing.
• Assist with trial preparation.
• Participate in trial as second or third chair as needed.
• Handle cases from start to finish (a plus).
• Learn probate law if no prior experience in that area.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Excellent writing and verbal abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good judgment.
