Litigation Associate

About the role

Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 1 year of general litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the automotive consumer litigation practice.
• Handles most aspects of litigation, including managing discovery requests and responses.
• Drafts and argues motions.
• Conducts research.
• Drafts memoranda and correspondence.
• Attends hearings and court conferences.
• Takes and defends depositions.
• Assists with trial preparations and trial.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

Must be admitted to the California Bar.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Products liability and/or consumer law background a plus.
• Superior research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
