Litigation Associate

About the role

The Pennsylvania office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has an opening for a litigation associate with 3-5 years' experience in complex commercial litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a strong litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of commercial litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and day-to-day case management and client management.
• Appear before state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and arbitrations.

Qualifications

• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent researching skills
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Must be bar admitted in Pennsylvania
• Must have Pennsylvania State court experience
• Strongly preferred: Experience in arbitration
